One way to be rid of Favre
I despise Brett Favre! I've always wanted to be rid of him. As a Bears fan it started as jealousy, I'll admit it. I was angry that he kept beating the Bears and the Packers were good. Then in 2002 I accepted the fact that he was good and for the first time in 7 years I broke my own rule of never having a Packer player on my fantasy teams and Brett and I won 2 fantasy championships that year. Then 2004 rolled around and we have had to deal with the drama of will he or won't he retire ever since.
I have wished, hoped, and watched in anticipation for 16 weeks every fall for someone to injure ole #4 enough that he would just go away. When he plays the Bears I am obsessed with these thoughts and the euphoric feeling I would get if it was the Bears who could make this happen. It actually has made me feel less happy about Bears wins vs. Favre when he was not "taken out."
My proposal is something I think all of the 4HaterNation can get behind. First we would need Commissioner Goodell to look the other way with the alleged sexual assault of a 16 yr old. Then we get the original LT, Lawrence Taylor, to sign with the Saints. We get LT to give him the Joey T treatment. If it doesn't happen in week 1 LT can be traded to the next Minnesota opponent and so on and so forth. Except for the Bears, I want that opportunity left to them without the use of an assassin.
Call me wrong, call me ignorant, call me jealous. Just don't call me unsure. When it comes to ridding the NFL of #4 I know what I want.
